When you think of being rich and getting everything you could ever want, you think of the perfect life, right? Well, it may be in a different situation, but not in this one; these rich kids who appear to have the perfect life really don't. They have horrible families, some of them beaten and abused by their parents who may have drug or drinking problems. They get hurt by their parents almost everyday, if not everyday, but they don't have the voice to stop the pain. That is why they were sent to Herrington Mountain Academy, a five star school for the rich who are abused.
HMA was founded by George Madison in the early nineteen hundreds after he found out about the painful lives that some of the rich children live day by day. He wanted to put a stop to that, making the school a boarding school where the students could come for their high school education. The first year that it was open, they accepted four thousand and nintey-two students into the boarding school, having to add some more rooms to the already giant school.
Ever since then, they have been accepting thousands of students each year, sometimes having to add even more rooms to the expanded hallways. Most of the students are grateful to go there, to get away from their family. Some of them didn't enjoy living in their abusive homes, but they really didn't mind it. They were just so used to it, but that all ended when they came to HMA.
There is a group of students who are probably the richest in the school, but they have been abused by their families the most. Not many people know who they are since the group of students don't like to talk about their horrid pasts, but a lot of people know them for their money...and because of their parents.
Everyone has a past and a story, no matter how good or bad it is. What's yours?
